Hornsey & Wood Green Labour Fair Tips Campaign
Haringey Labour today launched a campaign to promote fair tips across Hornsey and Wood Green. We believe tips should go to the wait staff, not used by management to make up the minimum wage. Do you agree good service should recieve the full tip?

WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT

Local History is tremendously important. In a fast changing world and in an area of London where demographics change so fast, our history can help ground our community and create a real sense of place.

One of the reasons I (Matt) settled in the area was because of the sense of history: the wonderful mix of late 19^th century town house styles with post-war terraces, ultra-modern new builds and 20^th century conversions.

We also have a number of precious local monuments. The Metropolitan Cattle Trough on Nightingale Road by the Finsbury Gardens, the New River Course through the Area, the Nightingale Road Alms Houses, Myddleton Road, the War Memorial on Bounds Green Road and lots more.
